Rudy Wiedoeft, an artist almost totally forgotten today, is responsible for the saxophone craze of the 1920’s. This lecture recital includes performances of Wiedoeft’s legendary pieces and Ralph Hermann’s Concerto for Doubles written in 1948 for Al Gallodoro. Perfect for universities and high schools.
